Do you have a 20/20 vision.. Or your vision is blurred especially when you are looking at a distance. If you happen to have a blurred vision it happens that you cannot recognize a person at some distance and it's embarassing because that person might be a friend and might have been smiling at you and you dont respond because you cannot recognize him/ her.. sometimes some people think that you are somewhat snob or unmindful.. On the other hand when you are wearing your eye glassess there is still a chance that you might not also recognize some persons beside you... which brings you to the question which is more preferable for you to wear an eye glasses or a contact lens..

I am short sighted and I have been since childhood but didn’t realise until at the age of around 21 I tried on my friend’s glasses and lo and behold, I could see everything so clearly, I did not realise what I had missed! I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses ever since; I vary between the two depending on how I feel or what I am doing. The strange thing that has happened to me as I’ve aged is that my vision has changed so that when I read I need to remove my glasses or I can’t see; yet I still need glasses for distances, weird ah?

I wear glasses. I personally have problems doing anything to my eyes. I can hardly stand to put makeup on. I don't want to have to put my fingers in my eyes. I only have to wear the glasses to read and when driving.

Hello sammy14 this is checkmail and earlier used to have the same pro of vision, and for that purpose had an spects for me.It was an long distance spects, as wasn't able to see it correctly the long distance things.Later with some Ayurvedic medics i improved mine eyesight and now i don't need anymore spects.Yeah it had been craze about the contact lens but still stick to the spects as more convenient and safe to use it.

I prefer my glasses, thou sometimes I argue with my 1-year-old son because he tends to grab it from my eyes when he's angry...for me, glasses are quite comfortable in terms of placing and removing it from my eyes... I'm kinda lazy though...usually when I get home from work, I take care of my son then when he sleeps the room is already dark so I just lay down beside him and take off my glasses and thats it, goooood niiight sleep....^___^
