Why are most guns black in color?

I am yet to see a white gun in my lifetime since most guns are usually black. I wonder if it's not possible to make guns of different color (maybe even camouflage colors) instead of black , because African skin is black and those weapons are also black which begs the question ... why not a white gun? It sure raises some eyebrows to think of it this way because it almost touches a very sensitive issue of racism.I was thinking about this yesterday and it bummed me out completely. Anyone who can explain this to me or is bothered by it as much as I am , please share your opinion.

I am not sure why. When it is black, perhaps others can not see it clearly at night. At least this kind of dangerous weapon should not be obvious in public. I love China

I think black stands for powerful, serious, no kidding, people should show respect for it. I remember almost the same question when an American client asked me why the trucks in China are all in blue? I answered maybe that means the power and strong. Hope it's helpful.

You simply have to paint it white to see one laugh out loud , just kidding . I guess black colour is tactical in the night .
