What is fame? One can say it is "recognition". Is Fame necessary in today's world say at school/college or at workplace? Can a person live without fame?
Personally, I think Fame is a sort of inner motivation which gets you going. It is a beautiful feeling; when you meet the expectations of others. Fame keeps you and others around you growing. Fame is necessary but one shouldn't go behind it. It should come to you.
What do you think about Fame?

Well fame is a thing which everyone would love to have...... it"s not easy to get famous ofcourse .......i also agree that more than money it is fame that drives everyone and gives motivation to whatever they are doing when we depart from this earth we would like to leave some imprint of ourselves that will remain forever etched in atleast some people"s memory....... future generations
should remember us for something we have achieved or accomplished......i think that is the real goal of being famous

Hi. I believe you're right in saying that "fame" could mean "recognition." Based on its dictionary meaning, it could also mean "reputation."
To answer your question whether "fame" is necessary in today's world, I would say it depends on why are you "famous." I have know a lot of people who are famous because of their good deeds and reputation. But I've also known lots of people who are famous because of their bad reputation.
Being famous because of having a very good reputation/recognition is OK to experience. But I don't like too much fame like those of the celebrities or politicians. I would like to maintain my privacy.

Yes, I agree. "Fame" could boost our self-confidence if such recognition/reputation is positive in nature. It's a different story when "fame" is brought about by negative reasons.
