GMA's presidential forum 1sang tanong was attended by 8 presidentiables: Noynoy Aquino, Erap Estrada, Manny Villar, JC Delos Reyes, Nic Perlas, Bro. Eddie Villanueva, Gilbert Teodoro and Bayani Fernando.
Who gave you the best impressions? Who gave otherwise? For you, how much does these kinds of Presidential Forums affect your views on the candidates? Your thoughts.

I watch it, as i expected Gilbert Teodoro will answer the question well but im surprised to hear the answers of Bro. Eddie Villanueva, i think he did very well answering the questions. Still, i have doubts with the intentions of pastors and churh people running for politics. I think we will see much more of these stuff in the coming months. I just notice one thing, have you seen Erap removing the head phone while in the booth and Mike Enriquez stares at him, like almost saying "whats wrong with you, put it back" one of the funniest moment ever...thats cheating! lol Aw! erap, ur truly one of a kind.

I agree. The poise was there for both of the candidates you mentioned, they really know their stuff. No surprise for a bar top notcher in Gibo. Personally, I'm for Bro. Eddie Villanueva, I've been following the presidentiables around in forums and talks like this and I like his idea of approach on the many problems of our society, very precise and feasible. And with him being a leader of a religious sect, I personally believe he is in for a legitimate reason because I doubt anyone of that stature would think of doing things that may jeopardize his whole organization. I am no JIL member, but I believe its high time we pick someone who has no political ties.

Hi stephon8, I dont think bro eddie has bad intentions for the Philippines. For people who love God only wants to glorify God. Villanueva knows that he is also bringing God's name, and I know that he wouldn't put a shame on God. Bro. eddie is also neutral to all religions, as you may see from the news, he even united Christians and Muslims. When he is elected, he will no longer act as a pastor and preach in the news or forums but instead he will act as the President, neutral to all religion.

If you are referring to the entire show only, then I think it's Gibo, Villar and Bro Eddie Villanueva who shined that night.
But then, it does not mean they now has the edge. To me, a couple of minutes of answering all the questions of Filipinos as all of their answers were in general.
What I suggest is that they talked directly to people during their campaign so that they will understand the real problem.

I generally agree. I think Villar was mediocre though, I know all he said was crap because I know the guy all too well. As for Gibo and Bro. Eddie, they are natural at these kinds of talks with both striving in the academe.
I think anyone who aspires for a presidential position and does not know the real problem does not have the right to run for presidency. It is indeed a good idea to make them face the public and let them answer direct and on the spot questions about their platforms and plans for the country. Let us judge by capability and sincerity above all.

I had a quick glimpse of the forum in the news this morning. I have not seen the whole show. I will look into it this coming Sunday as I heard they will replay it this Sunday. Well I am rooting for either Noynoy or Villar right now but I have not fully decided on it. I believe I still have plenty of time to decide right now.

Yes, it nice to see our candidates duke it out in the open for us to know who has the heart and the will to be our President. If you would, the other station also has it's own presidencial forum dubbed "Harapan" i think and i think it would also be worth the watch.

i also have not seen the entire show but as mentioned, the show will be replayed on sunday and that will be the time i can see it. i can't give reactions about the forum, in so far as i still have to see it, but i already made a decision of not giving erap another chance to cheat the nation.

I agree... Though I credit Erap with some notable things he did during his reign (like expelling of the main forces of MILF), he simply does not have the capability to run the nation. More so, we need a president that can set a good example and not someone who breaks the law himself. I also do not see any good in Erap running for office again. Once is enough.
