Is anyone out there for this or against it? let us know why...
Personaly I am all for it. I live in Germany as an American, I have Universal Health care and it is a blessing to go to the doctor when and if I want to and not have to worry about how much it will cost me...

I am for real health reform. I do not want to see what is in the States now where if you do not give the medical insurance companies all your information like you smoked ten years ago and now got cancer, you will not get paid. But I do not like what would be proposed that if you are elderly, or disabled, you do not get the proper treatment and will have to go and die. I want all hospitals to have the proper equipment and treatment available to all legal residents and to not have long waiting lists.
The trouble with universal health care is if you are old, they may decide it is too costly for an operation, but they do not take in consideration how healthy you are. So if the health care is not rationed, and if it is open to all citizens of the country it is a good thing.

You are suggesting that the same people who can not make a dime out of the post office to take over health care in the country??? The same people who failed at distributing the H1N1 shots? People that didn't want the shots were forced to take them, and people who wanted them could not find them. Let's look at history. It wasn't until government started meddling with health care that it started to fall apart. Before government got involved in health insurance, health insurance was more affordable. It's just an endless spiral of government intervention, failure, government intervention, failure, and etc. Before all of this nonsense, if you were sick and had no money you went to a charity hospital, but all of this crap ran them all out. And if you suggest that it's a moral obligation to be charitable to our fellow man, there is no such thing as forced charity. Charity comes from the heart and not from the pocket. So, instead of this universal health care nonsense, why don't we just get rid of the income tax and let churches, charities, and those with hearts take care of the needy? You know, like they used to? Without all the nonsense there would be so much wealth among us all that it would be impossible to be uncharitable.
