I am blessed in that even though our family struggles to a degree, it is a struggle that we are now making by choice and not by necessity. There was a time when I would have easily said that we do not struggle, but that was when we were using credit and running up more debt that we would have to pay in the long run without even thinking about it. However, now we've come to our senses and we don't use money that doesn't really belong to us. So, now I will say that we are struggling to a degree to pay back the money that never really belonged to us, but then again we aren't struggling because we are not going to have to deal with that later.

hi punjab911 so you are really lucky as a lot of us do have to struggle to pay bills. I am mylotting to pay my internet bill each month. I have after Gold Crest takes out my rent and board bill one hundred twenty five dollars for personal expenses for a month so its not a lot. I do not sign up for anything I cannot pay for as I know my budget is very small. I can pay for a phone and my internet andthat about does it for me.

Yes, I struggle to pay my bills. Mostly this has occured because my husband and I separated a few weeks ago and he left me with all the bills.
To manage, I pay them off bit by bit.
For instance, the electricity bill is always huge, so I ring them up and organise a fortnighly payment, over two months.
With the the waterbill, it is usually two payments I need to make.
With my telephone, I often need two payments as well.
I had to buy a second hand fridge and washing machine last week, so I paid a deposit first.
For Christmas gifts, I put items on layby.

At one stage, my family was struggling. I am a stay at home mother and don't get alot of money at all. I made an arrangement with my husband that I would pay half of the bills like electricity and water. My husband didn't pay the other half. So On the little money I had, I made arrangements with the supplier that I would pay the bills off every time I got paid.
So for example if I had a bill of $100 every month. I would look at it and paid a minimum of $50 each fortnight. To pay off the outstanding amount, I would put extra on the payment so that I eventually get the outstand amount paid off.
Today with those 2 bills I have mentioned, I am now in credit by a few hundred. It is all thanks to by keeping the fortnightly payments up. I find that by paying bills frequently instead of waiting for the bills to come in.
Question yourself and think if you would find it a bit easier to find $50 every fortnight or finding $100 once a month?

Fortunately, i am not one of the few youa re talking about. I have a permanent job and I am fortunate enough to earn a living for myself so that I can pay my daily expenses and monthly bills. I get a handsome amount as salary though not much to enjoy a luxury life but to lead a comfortable one.
