How much to you know about your country

Hi.. I came from the Land of the morning, and I am a child of the sun returning... and that is Philippines. Our lively and colorful culture make us distinctly who we are "Filipinos". Our culture and traditions speak clearly for our beloved country. Most foreigners love us for being very hospitable and soft spoken people. Our country is also one of the cleanest and greenest country in Asia. We have a lot of tourist spots all over our country that most foreigners want to visit over and over again. We have a nomination for the seven wonders of the world, which is the "Subterranean Underground River" - the longest navigated underground river in the world (8.2km long).

I also know very well about my country. My country is INDIA. I really love my country.my country's population is approximately 1000000000. yes our India Army is around 120000000. My country have nuclear power and lots of technology, and also financialy well and best. I know that my country have many places for tours and travelling, many people from the rest of world come here.

India is a vast country and I have travelled quite a bit but there is so much more to see. Each State is unique having its own language, dress sense, food, music, geography, fauna and flora. It is just not possible here to describe it. Even the features of a person could be identified depending from which State he/she comes from!!!

Well, I've lived in two countries for a long period of time, but if you ask me, I don't tend to bother with the facts of having to know what each country, I mean, the point is you enjoy your time in any country you live in. The others, I mean knowledge are if you really are curious or you want to learn history.

I live in Australia now. But i still want to share my own country Philippines. in total we have seven thousand one hundred seven island so Philippines is a country composed of many islands. The number of islands we have changes when its high tide that a bit freaky. It is composed of 3 main Islands LUZON, VIsAYAS and MINDANAO. The best places that i can recommend are BAGUIO, this place is cold and famous for the ifugao natives who built the BANAWE RICE TERRACES. Chocolate hills is one the best attractions in Philippines its like little mountain and the color changes from time to time depending on the weather and humidity and if you are a monkey lover you can see the famous tarsier which is recognized as the smallest monkey living on earth you can actually put them in your palm their really cute and lovely. If you are a shopping addict, Try visiting SM MALL OF ASIA it is the biggest shopping center that ive ever seen, you need a golf car to rove around, because trust me its really tiring...

I live in England and it is part of the United Kingdom. It is situated in Europe. It has a temperate climate, summer is warm and winter is cold. It is a small country and it has a very large population of around 58 million. The capital city is called London and it has some lovely sights like Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the River Thames, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. It has a rich history and castles can be seen. It has a coastline with cities like Brighton in the south and Blackpool in the north. It has tall mountains and green countryside. I visited lovely Malaysia when I was on my way around the world.

I live in India. The people belonging to different states follow different culture, but they all follow the same fame "Indians". In few years, India would be the highly populated country in the world. India is also known for cheap labor, which most of the western countries make use of by outsourcing. In sports, although the national game is hockey, Indian streets are famous for cricket. Archery is another famous sport, which is believed to have its origin in India. The Indian food has its own variety, with different states in India following different food culture. In science, India is famous to have developed many scientists, and educational intelligence. I am proud to be an Indian, But not proud of the current status of India.
