Destruction of a Lifetime's work!

Have you ever worked really hard at something and just when you are at the brink of success , someone just comes and takes it all away from you because they can?
I have this fear to share my work and ideas with anyone because I am sure no one can be trusted , everyone has a price and can turn on you at any time , so to protect the destruction of a lifetimes work , I prefer to do things secretly.
Anyone else in this category of extreme paranoia like me?

That true as some just steal ideas and when they know it from you they could make it show like it is their original ideas which they improve better than you and end up being call as the copy cat instead. so it is better if you have ideas better keep it first to yourself before bragging it.
