I am so excited to go home for the holidays!!! Last year was the saddest Christmas i ever had, though i had friends to cheer me up at work but it's still different when you're with your loved ones sharing about experiences as we do our best to move on with life, especially that another year is about to come. Phew! Family really matters!

Hi, Krackelz! Welcome to myLot!
I can feel your excitement. I have a younger sis who works as another state. Every time when she comes back especially during Christmas, there's always joy and all of us are happy because we can have a family gathering. So, I can fully understand your situation when you could not visit your family during last Christmas, but hey, you will be happier this year. Hope you will have great and wonderful moments with your family.

Thank you so much for the well wishes, Corrycrystal! Yeah, my family last Christmas was kinda worried about me because i was not around to celebrate the holidays with them. I am the youngest in the family and all of my older siblings were at home tagging along their spouses and little members in the family. My nephews and nieces were wondering why i couldn't go home that time. Wow! And because of that experience, i promise myself to be home this Christmas and spend quality time with my family especially with my nephews and nieces...uhmmm...and my wonderful dog. Yes, i will make sure to have fun this Christmas season and i hope that you and your family will have a good one too. All the best!

I do not know why everything gets so sentimental during this season. I will be celebrating it without my husband and I feel so sad about it. But at least I get to spend it with my family.

Hi, Rima! Yeah, Christmas is a time to be joyful and a great time indeed to spend with your loved ones. I am sorry to hear about your husband's absence for the holidays. It's okay, things happen for a reason. Last year, i didn't get to spend Christmas with my family but i felt grateful for the experience because it taught me wonderful things about life. Being away from your family, especially during Christmas, is not that easy really but the lessons you learned from the experience are all worth it. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas!

If we have understanding family, nothing like spending time with them and sharing our thoughts and experiences with them. Especially spending festival time with family is something that gives immense pleasure to our heart.
