Many of you have suffered through my pi$$ing and moaning about my friend who has borrowed money from me and the amount of pay back is rather large...like around $1500+. I just found out that I am going to get paid back within the next two weeks!!!
I can get some of the necessary work done on my home, pay my rent up, and even buy myself my dream item (A Memory Craft 9000 sewing machine that embroiders and does everything but burp the baby). I am soooo stoked! It also puts the lock on my EVER loaning that much money ever again! But right now that is an unhappy thought, and I am too happy to have one of those right now. CHRISTMAS MAGIC DOES HAPPEN!!!
What happy thing has happened to you? It doesn't have to be big, even the little things count as happy.

Wow, I'm glad this happened. Someone borrowed a lot of money from my fam and they haven't paid it back. I don't think they ever will.
Wow, a sewing machine. That would be so cool. I would like a sewing machine. I like to sew on clothes. Different things. Someday I will get one. I have used one before. And it was fun!
Other sewing I do is crocheting.

She is getting grant and loan money...and she asked me if I would mind if she made two payments...uhhh HE11 YES!!! I don't want to wait any longer. But right now I am just too thrilled to be getting paid back.

hi loverbear just got a christmas card from a fellow mylotter, one who asked for my address ages ago and it was enough to warm my heart and start the Christmas spirits flowing too. I am going to do two cards before bedtime tonight, all Icoud afford today at 2and a half dollars whatever happened to boxes of christmas cards?.And that was in Walmart too. wow. but that little gesture made my dad, and getting my meds straightened out finished making my day. now if my son would come it wou ld be perfect.
I am so glad you are getting paid back as so many times people will stiff a person and a big loan remains unpaid. now you can have a wonderful christmas. I am so jealous of people who can really use a sewing machine and make such great things. my mom could do that too but me I am a klutz around a sewing machine. for some reason they do not like me and will ball up the thread in one big mess and nobody else has that happen to them. I think the things just do not like me. he he he

Some people just aren't meant to be sewers. I learned to sew when I was three and have been an avid sewer ever since. I used to make all my daughter's clothes when she was growing up and when she was a teenager. I just got some beautiful fabric from Wally World to make a "Snow Queen outfit for one of the bears that I am making.
Remember that you might be a klutz in one thing but be absolutely superb in another. I just was one who was good at sewing.

Congratulations to you on your getting your loan paid back! It must have been difficult for you to have parted with so much of your money when you needed it most!
A most happy thing that has happened to me right now is joining a library. I have just recently joined a library that has some amazing collection of books. I can't wait to take my book in hand everyday. Another happy thing that I look forward to in my life is going for an evening walk with my mother every day!
