Showers don't work, neither does coffee. Are there any other ways?

Maybe scaring the hell out of them. Dunno how exactly you could use your imagination on here. Loud music could be effective. Hmm i cant think of any other ways to wake up someone.

Try to imagine an unsolved problem. Personally i find it hard to wake up on weekdays than when it's my day off. To wake myself i have to remind myself of any unfinished job in the office. That usually wakes me up fast. Cheers!

I think lots of teens have the same problem, because my son sure did when he was your age, and it kept on until he turned 20. What I suggest him to do is to do a little exercise ( how about running around the house, up and down the stairs, or just do crazy dancing with loud music) for awhile. When you move around, your blood circulation increase and brings oxygen to your brain, so you won;t feel sleepy anymore. Then think of good things you could do afterwards, to keep you motivated. Eat a very sharp peppermint candy and gargle it with ice cold water. That will sizzle your brain...ha ha. Good luck.
