Do you have a piano in your house? Who plays? In days of yore a Piano used to be a status symbol even though no one could play. It used to occupy a vantage spot where all guests who came could see it!!

Hi allknowing
I have a keyboard on my house. I play a bit, although i just know a couple of songs and thats it. My sister also played, she now prefer to play the guitar though. My big brother also know a couple of songs thought by my sister. They both are the musicians of the house(they love to sing duets and both play guitar). Well maybe someday i would try to play and practice more.

Couple of songs are not enough. Have you ever witnessed those who have a passion for music. They play not just 2 songs but a multitude of them. Tell your family to be at it more as these days very few familieis are into music and your family is truly blessed.

Well for you to know, i have 7 siblings, so my whole family isnt into music. My oldest sister doesnt play anything(nor sing), as well as my first little brother, my other brother is just to small but he seems to like to play the drums. My other two sisters know a couple of songs on guitar(thought by my sisters, they are not really into music but they wanted to learn a couple of songs for fun). My other brother and sister, which i already comment you about, are the one that are really into music. As for me i do like to play piano, but im a bit lazy and i dont have too much time either.

Very true. In those days piano was a status symbol and everyone had it, whether they know to play or not. At least during occasions and functions, visitors used to play them. But now space is a constraint for every one and piano occupies a lot of space. So it is not seen much. I do not know how to play piano. My children also learnt veena, percussion instruments like mrudangam, drums etc., key board, tabala, violin etc. But no one showed interest to learn piano.

You have a point there. Grand Piano will take a lot of space and added to that digitalised music is there for your asking

We have a digital piano. No, not a little, fake, keyboard. It still sounds like a real piano. I play, not very well since I had to end lessons. I really want to have a room for a giant grand piano when I buy my own house. That would be the most amazing thing ever.

In the meanwhile you better keep at it because if you lose the touch your
Grand Piano will only be a status symbol (lol)!!
