It seems like whenever I search for a movie online, there are more and more critics on the sidebars of the movie search engines. Some I agree with, some I don't...but I don't usually let their reviews alter my decision to go see a movie. For me, my friend's reviews are the most important. How important are a critic's reviews for you before you go see a movie in the movie theater? If a movie wins an award or grammy, are you more likely to see it?

I don't pay alot of attention to the critics either. There is one critic that seems to consistently hate evry movie I have liked, so if I see him give one I want to see, a bad review, I am more apt to go see that one.
There have been times when I had skipped a movie and then watched it after it won an award, and a couple of them, I'm still wondering why they won.
