I'm currently working while my son is still nursing. While my job has made the experience and easy and welcoming one so far, I'm not sure how to respond when my coworkers want to go on break or to lunch with me...My breaks are typically spent in the Maternity 'lounge'. A few of the women I work with already have children, so I didn't have to explain my disappearances to them. I can see some of the remaining members of the group question where I go in their minds. Would you openly tell them? I'm proud to have gone this long balancing nursing and work...but it's still slightly embarassing to talk about to others, although I'm not sure why. Any thoughts?
