Hey! Thanks for making my response the best. Anyway, I have actually heard the story before. But I can't exactly remember when and how. Really, it still give me goosebumps!
To be honest, I would have to admit that I might be scared at first. If the professor acts that way, I can't really go against him. But you see, he's an atheist. So, he don't believe in God, right? I don't think I can stand that. I will be provoked and thus my faith will arise.
I have a great faith, I'm proud of that. I'm a positive thinker and some of my friends can't understand why. But really, it's because of JESUS that I don't worry much about my tomorrow. My family has been through all the kinds of struggles life can give, but we're still alive. And that is because of God!
And with all these, I wouldn't dare sit back at the end of the classroom even if that professor is the most scariest person in the university. I would stand up and be proud of my GOD because I know that HE's real and it would be a shame for me to hide myself if in my heart I believe in Him. Just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. When the king told them that whoever won't bow on to the idol he's created, that person will be burned on a fiery furnace. These three young men respects the king but not that law which was against the GOD that they serve. So they said that God will rescue them and even if not, they still won't bow down to the idol. What a faith! But God saved them and that made the king tremble.
If we show who we are and what we believe in, God will never leave nor forsake as HE has promised. He will always be there for us. Sometimes HE won't come instantly but HE'll be there with HIS perfect timing.
So... Yes, I will stand up and proclaim that my GOD is real...and no one could ever fathom HIS greatness. GODbless!

Yes I believe in God very much. God has saved me from the most difficult of situations at times and has shown me the right path when I was wrong. Of course He did this through my near and dear ones who we there for me in my most difficult times. I could not read your 'story' but I am sure it is on the same lines. God is there and loves us very much.

I believe in God and i yes had my ups and down too. God has taught me in so many way but He made me grow stronger in my faith. There's no burden too heavy for us to carry that what He taught me the most. God Bless You Boyetski...

So this entire story comes about from a professor, who accidentally dropped his chalk before he could perform his experiment?
Still waiting for real evidence before I stop being agnostic.

Ideally, God would come out of the sky and exclaim "Why yes, I do exist!".
Something solid.
