Finally reported a verbal abusive, racial nurse I work with!

First of all, good for you-too many people put-up with this kind of abuse and never report it. Second, if this woman continues to treat you poorly or confronts you about you having reported her, be honest. What's the worst that could happen? You've already reported her, so she'd be stupid to try anything else with you, and maybe if she sees that you will indeed stand-up for yourself and not simply take what she dishes out, she'll start treating you better. Bullies usually pick-on people who are "easy targets" and don't stand up for their rights. If you show her you're not about to accept or tolerate her behaviour, she may lose the "confidence" she had that she could get away with it.

you should be strong about this .you cannot allow this kind of behaviour from anybody.you have to stand up for yourself.enduring these kind of behaviour from others is not going to help you or your confidence.you have done the right thing,according to me.just try to be as brave as you can and be proud of yourself because you have done a brilliant thing.

Keep on fighting for your rights to a fair workplace. Even if something bad does happen, you will know you did the right thing for yourself and those that follow you. But I hope nonthing bad does happen, and if it does, you make sure all of your employer leadership knows of the bad treatment from your colleague.. in the end it should impact her. Sometimes there is a risk with doing the right thing, but I know I feel right when I do the 'right' thing.
