I am originally from the UK and it has been said many times that the NHS is the envy of the world. Yes it gives free healthcare to all, but the system is so overloaded that wating lists are endless and people can be rushed through the system without all the proper checks being done. I have moved to Bulgaria and it has been said that healthcare is basic here. My husbands back condition has worsened recently so we went to our local hospital and I can't believe the amazing way things were handled. All tests, consultation with a neurologist and treatment were all sorted in one afternoon - we had made less progress than this in the UK in 2 years. We had to pay for this treatment but compared to service we got the payment was nothing. How about you? Is the healthcare system in your country good or bad? Do you have to pay for your treatments?

We pay for health coverage.I personally like it this way! I would hate to have socialized medicine .It might sound great to those with no health care give it to them ,But please leave me with a choice is what,I say.
I believe in charity not a monopoly .
