The world's greatest invention of all time...

I see where you are going with this.. I think the greatest invention (man made) would be speech. We have learned to communicate and translate objects and thoughts into words that we each understand. That's unfathomable when you think about it. Great post hope more people respond to this one, I'd like to see where this goes...

I think its abacus...because it is the first instrument for computing through this it lead now to a super hi tech computers!!!!

I would have to say that it is electricity. We use it for all kinds of things that we use and have to have in our daily lives. It can even make the darkness light up. I think that is great in itself.

From my point of view is the wheel. Without the wheel, just imagine, nothing could have done. I am not talking about transportation alone, but also the various uses, the wheel is used.

I definitely think that you are on the right track with saying that it is fire. With the invention (or discovery) of fire came the ability for all of the rest of the revolutions that have come forth in this world to happen. Without fire we wouldn't be able to cook our food and the way that technology has had its leaps and bounds would not have happened because there was a time when everything that was industrial was all operated with steam power which ultimately boils down to fire as well.

I'd have to say "the internet." I'm able to make an income on line, meet new people, learn all kinds of new things, I always have something to do, I can be creative and productive, and I also managed to meet my husband on line. I love the internet, and think it's the greatest invention in the world.
