Given the today's position I think only one team can win from here and that is India. Even if India can add another 300 runs tomorrow and then declare or get bowled out. Sri Lanka would then have to bat out two full days and with fielders around the bat on a 4th and 5th day wicket, I think it would be very difficult for them. The only hope for them is to bowl India out very quickly and ensure that the lead is restricted to under 150 which looks difficult looking at their performance today. Cheers! Ram

seems to be a simple question buddy because the way Sehwag is batting its undoubtedly win for India, only the question to be asked what will be the margin of victory.

The only team that can win the test match is India. The reason is that India scored just 400 odd runs in just 79 overs and if Sehwag stays for another 60 odd overs than India will be in the winning situation. Wow scoring 284 in just 234 balls is not easy thing to do which Sehwag had achieved, hats off to him for playing risky cricket and not playing for records. I pray god that Sehwag scores 400 runs and break Brain Charles Lara record because India is already 1 up in the series and lot of time left to bowl out Sri Lanka. So, Sehwag is just 116 short of 400 runs. SO just one more century and 16 runs to achieve this record.. Let us hope for the best and India will surely be winning this test match and go up 2-0..
