I seem to be noticing a lot of relationships have been ending this year. Why is that? Is something in the air? Is it recession blues? Ladies, Fellas, Please some input on the situation. Let me know what you think... I thought love was supposed to last forever???

Well, there not supposed to be broken. I guess some aren't made to last to last though, some people are not meant to be together and some things are just not possible to coexist with. I still believe we can find a life long partner but the things we value have changed and that makes it hard for relationships to flourish at all..

Ha, the "recession blues" - that's a good one! I've been noticing this for a long time, actually, though. From what it seems like - so many people out there are just faking their way through the holidays and through the relationships they have with other people. It's sad, really! I don't think it's a new thing, though.

Again I have noticed this for a while. Before we were talking up the holidays a lot of people were involved in nasty breakups. There was me almost two years ago. Now my friends, neighbors, etc. I personally know at least ten couples who've broke up this year, both boyfriend/girlfriend and husband/wife. All for different reasons but it just seems its the season for it! Thank you for responding long time no "see." Heheheh. I'm back online regularly and trying to catch up on all my old networks so I'll be around more often.

Maybe is the weather? I know lots of couples get together during the summer, and the winter... well I guess they could not keep it warm. Maybe is a hormonal thing also you know... I read an article way back explaining how hormones get all crazy during hot days... But that could not be true also... who knows. I still blame it on the weather :P

Well, it is u to those couples involves in a relationship and i think they are the only one who know the reason since they were the one who creates such trouble for themselves. Though, this season of Christmas need to be joyous and not sad which everyone participate. though, it is very sad for those who have just suffered from break up they definitely feeling blue unless they find a quick replacement. I think having a relationship should not be the basis to be happy and instead focus on other imporatant things to do which includes sharing or giving happiness to other people which is much better than to be sad in a four corner of the house without going out could even lead to depression.

I don't think it has anything to do with Christmas but it may be the expenses incurred during these holidays that are adding extra stress to an already serious situation. I mean in my family Christmas isn't really practiced so in our case Christmas never was a reason. I see a lot people around me breaking up though. You are so right though in that the relationship shouldn't be the source of our happiness but it is other things that should make the relationship happy. If more people thought like that it might prevent a lot of undue stress..
