Why? This is so wrong!

I was in line at Mc Donalds this morning for a coffee. There were 2 cars in front of me. The first lady was trying to order and the lady behind her got out of her car and started screaming in her face about cutting her off!! The woman called the police. It was very scary to me. I had my kids in the car. All I wanted was to use my coupon for a free coffee, however seeing this scene, I decided since I had my two young children I was going to get out of the line. I felt terrible for the young gal. Even if she did cut the other lady off, was it worth it? Did she really need to get out of the car? I am proud of the lady standing up to her. Have you ever seen something like this? How terrible. Why do people act like this?

That's what I call "Waking up at the wrong side of the bed". Perhaps the lady who screamed was just having a really bad day and the incident just blew up her already short fuse. It's unfortunate though that a simple situation could make matters worst. Worst is that they had to involve the police. I'm really wondering what the police would do? Issue a complaint about a person cutting-in-line? Isn't that a little absurd? Good though that you have left, I don't think that stunt is worth influencing your children.

Exactly!!! :) I agree on the police. I think she may have been scared. It's like someone calling 911 for the wrong order. I guess I will try to use my coupon tomorrow. Thanks for the response. I hope you have a good day:)

If they involved the police, most likely a charge of harrassment was issued. That is if the lady that was being yelled at pressed charges. Depending on how angry the other lady was by the time the police arrived, the charges could have even been more severe. I actually had an incident one time while sitting in a turn lane, the guy behind me thought I was in the wrong for not turning on a yellow light, he got so mad that when the light turned green, he raced around me slammed on the breaks the jumped out of his truck with a baseball bat. Given that it was only me in the car, you bet I called the police. I pressed charges against him for attempt to do bodily harm. The police officer stated that I was right to do so, given that I am a woman, he said it could have even gone one step further. I was sooo scared that day.

Hi Gina I have not come across something like this and I agree there was no need for it at all specially when Children are present there is no need for it half the time when someone cuts you of it would not have been on purpose it happens The Problem today is that People are just in to much of a Hurry and if something gets in their way they turn nasty Maybe if People would start taking their time and it is possible, avoid the Stress, get up a bit earlier, take your time and set of in time and I know it can be done as I used to do it, then half of all this would not happen, yes now and again something will crop up and you might be a late but that happens, nut People are so stressed all the time now they just have no regular routine any more so this is the outcome, everyone rushes and considers no one I am glad you drove of as that would have been scary for your Children to see

People are so unpredictable sometimes. I really try to pay attention to how people are acting when im out in public. I also have witnessed people flip out and lose it for trivial reasons. It makes me wonder what is going in their life that they have to have a tantrum in public.

Yes. This is true. I wonder if they become embarrased after the fact. Probably not. I agree. They are probably not happy in life. So, they play the victim. Who knows?!? Thank you for responding. :)

now this a classic example of a mile "snap" lucky she only scream at the woman and did not harm the woman physically although emotional hurt is deeper than physical hurt. thank God

That is taking your morning trip to McDonalds a little too seriously. It is one thing to grumble under your breath about it in your car, but to get out of the car and cause a scene like that is ridiculous.

hi gina well there is two sides to all stories and if the one lady had not cut off the other lady, then the cutoff yapper would not have had anything to yap about. Ido not feel a bit sorry' for either one.Cutting off people even in cars is bad manners and getting out and yapping is also bad manners. why do people driving cars have to get so shook up over everything? Why did they not just agree to disagree and let it go at that.They both sounded as though they had acted stupidly. calling the police over that , what could the police do, give them both tickets for acting stupid? I don't think there is a ticket for stupidity.

Yes, it's crazy how road rage effects people. And why? Is it that important? Is it worth getting someone hurt? People do not think. I have had some REALLY bad mornings before. But never once have I ever attempted to do this stunt. I have only thought about it!! haha Thank you for responding. I hope that you are having a wonderful day!

Well, some people just have a bad temper that its hard to control, especially in the morning. The bad thing is you never know when or why they might explode. The think best is too be careful not to do something that might tick somebody off and not to get involved if you see a situation like this.
@gina2008 (248)

I agree. You never know when people are going to explode. It's very sad. :( Thank you for your response. I hope that you have a very nice day today.

I do not understand why people get so upset for little things. Yes the young lady was wrong for cutting the other lady of but for the one women to call the police is ridiculous. I sometimes get mad at other people in vehicles but I just tell them off in my car and do not let them hear me. People now a days just get to upset for nothing and that is what makes it scary to go anyplace. It is hard to say why people act this way could be they are late for something and it is their own fault but now they can take their anger on someone else.

Hi, Gina! Maybe this lady had enough about people cutting line or just being moody especially when it was in the morning time. Calling the police just because of this will only make them look stupid and the police have better things to do than to deal something like this. I don't think the lady would hurt her physically, but I think this incident would teach the young woman a lesson not to jump queue in future.
