I have a responder on my previous discussion who told me that she was playing sims. I was a bit surprise because I didn't know that other people like it the way I do.
The game SIMS is a community. You will have to choose a character, you can build one of your own or just play the default characters. You can also choose a community where you want your characters to live. You can choose if you want your character to be old, young adult, teen, kid or a toddler. The characters here grows up in time. They go to school and work. They also drink, eat, watch tv, etc. They can go to public places like market.
A friend introduced this game to me last year. I have been addicted to it and so are my siblings. I have it downloaded with its complete features in my laptop. But now, my laptop is broken and I can't use the desktop because I can't bring this one to my room. I really miss playing that game now and am excited very much to get my laptop fixed.

The Famous SIMS game from EA sports! O yes we are playing, me and my wife plays this game, for years, we already played all games that is related to it, actualy it has so many versions and expansions, the sims, sims city, and etc. Now we are playing sims 2 which is a bit different from the old ones, the graphic is much better now and the gameplay changed a lot. Me and my wife a looking forward to have the new sims, the SIMS 3, and again from ea sports, one of the best company who creates games with excellence. We are still looking for a copy to download, because it is abit expensive, and nowadays buying games that cost much is really a no no, because of the economic condition. I am sure i can download the SIMS 3, just more patience and focus. There are lots of cheats on that game, but still much better played normally cause you will see the beauty of the game by playing it normally. You will not enjoy if you will use cheats specially the money, cause the reason why you play that game is to SIMULATE life, that is why it is called SIMS, for us to learn on how to budget things and how to budget the time. Have a nice day.

Yeah you're right. The game has a perfect lesson for everybody...Only if you played it right. If you worked hard and all that, you will be able to enjoy your money. But then, you also have to keep yourself fit and healthy... And then, you must also watch the mood of your characters. They must bond and mingle with other sims and interact with each other. What a cute game with lots of lessons to learn! Enjoy playing! I hope you'll be able to get the SIM 3. Good luck!

What version of the sims did you play? It's a very good simulation game, I first played Sim City a while ago when I was in primary school, it was kinda funny cause you could cause earthquakes and things. I have recently played Sims 3 and I thought it was a bit similar to Sims 2 but it's still good.

You just found a fellow Sims addict-- me. :) I love playing this game. In fact, I usually play this game for hours. The longest time I played this game was 9 hours continuously. I only took a break to pee and eat. This game is just too addicting. I also have all the expansion packs. This game is the best.

I have always loved the game sims. I have added expansion packs to it too. My last sims game was Sims2 , hot date and vacation. I like to make my own character but when our pc was broken I stopped playing it and now that I have bought a laptop i tried to install my cd once again but it seems broken.

Oww! That's kind of sad. If my laptop is not broken I would have offered to send you the game's installer but I haven't got any copy of it. It was saved on my laptop and my friend took her cd again...

Oww! Well, if you're a busy person and have lots of responsibility, I suggest you not to play the game. Because once you did, you'll be attached to it more than you could ever imagined. I felt so differently at first when I played this game. Then when I started doing activities with my characters, hoolah! They were doing extraordinary things. I mean, I didn't know some brilliant game as that!

I like the game Sims very much. In fact I started to play it several years ago. I am also addicted to this game. It is just like having your real life in the visual world. I can do many things that I will never do in the reality. It is very funny.
I love China

Yeah, you're right. Sometimes, I consider this game as an escape to the real world. You know, at least I can be rich here and buy big houses, right? Haha. Just for fun. And you can really go wherever you want and buy different stuffs! Gee... I miss playing SIMS!

yeah, my kids loved to play with it until now. The original simms and the second version of it. I also buy the third and forth installment of the game but my kids still want to play with the first two sequel. I'm not really a simms fan but my kids are. They loved simulation games which I think is better than combat or other types of games there is in the market today.

Yeah, right. I also think that SIMS is better than the other games commercialized now. With sims, you will have to create the kind of society that you want. It's also a helpful way in learning how to earn money, study well and start a family. I hope your kids will always have a great time :)

Yup! This game is one hell of an addictive sort of thing. It makes you coming back for more everytime you're in front of a computer. I think that's why the game franchise is the number one selling computer game of all-time, way even back in the Sims 1 era. Its simply totally entertaining, and offers you lots of freedom in gameplay. As you've said its basically you only in electronic form. The game is a pioneering one in that aspect. It serves as a role model for many current online games with similar gameplays, like SecondLife and Singles. Every ones in a while I can't play Sims 2 for a couple of months and then I'm back again. And it feels very nostalgic for me everytime I play the game again. One tip of advice so that your character or every people in your family won't die of old age without resorting to cheats like stopping the age because it takes away the fun, is that you should always aim to max out your mood and aspiration meters, or at least near to that level. So in case your Sim enters an important event in his/her life like graduation or marriage proposal, your high level aspiration and mood meter would instantly max out for a while. I think it would stay for a few Sims days and you'll have a chance to buy things in your rewards section with your accumulated aspiration points. In case you have lots of accumulated aspiration points you should not hesitate to buy the fountain of youth stuff. It looks like a water dispenser and after you bought it, you can drink from it every once in a while for 15 times. Each drink from that dispenser would make your Sim last longer or at least halt aging, but not rollback his/her age lets say from adult to become a teen again. For example your character is an adult and still has 20 days left before becoming an elder, you let him have a drink in the fountain of youth water dispenser and notice that instead of just 20 days still left in him, there's 5 more days added to his life span as an adult before becoming an elder. The total life span of an adult is 30 days and if for example your adult has 27 days left ticking in his clock and you let him have a swag at the dispenser, only 3 days could be added to his life span and would make him a freshly new adult again. It would not make him revert to becoming a young-adult or a teenager but still an adult. Nevertheless its still fun and best of all, cheat-free. It would also make you feel guilt-free and make your gaming more enjoyable without much reliance to cheats. Of course Sims 2 has lots to offer if you plan to play the game side-by-side with our daily realtime lives. And there's the newly released Sims 3, much more feature packed and has lots of room for improvement. But for me, I still hang on to Sims 2, heck Its already a very big world and for almost 4 years playing it, There's still too much to explore, especially with its dozen expansions and stuff packs and of course the millions of user created objects, dresses, and themes, especially houses that are scattered & sprawled in the internet. After Sims 3 stabilized and developed online communities large enough to support what is Sims 2 is today, then will the time I'll start enjoying playing the game too. And I hope many of us will too.
