It is written by different people from different time frames. So it is written in so many years before it is completed.

The bible was written by many persons at different times. The first five chapters were written by Moses. And the rest of the chapters were written by different peoples like farmers, poets, kings, doctors, disciples etc.

The Bibleis a collection of 66 different books Like a Library. it has 44 different authors and they were written at different times. so to answer this you need to be more specific.

Ages ago, by some stoned dude. Or rather, ages ago - over many years - by several stoned dudes. It's an entertaining novel, but nothing else.
