Hi everyone, what do you think of network marketing companies in the Philippines? Being a traditional businessman, I did not believe and i had my doubts if the concept of network marketing would really work.
8 years ago, a friend of mine invited my to join him. He was doing well with one of the network marketing companies in san juan. Since then, I have joined 5 network marketing companies. Unfortunately, i was not lucky all the time. But I am not the type of person that would be scared and give up. After a year of avoiding these companies, I joined one and i am still a member. After studying the business, attending numerous trainings and seminars, I found out that network marketing is not much different from any traditional business. It should not only be about inviting or recruiting people. It will still boil down to selling GOOD products. And from there, your network will grow. Another important factor I discovered, to be successful, just like in any business (or any aspect in life), there should be TRUST. Mutual repect and trust with the people around you.
A lot of people became rich because of network marketing companies (and even through internet businesses), why can't we?
Do you have any sad experience with any network marketing company in the world you would like to share? I am more than willing to discuss it with you, if you like.
If you're interested to know more about how to earn through network marketing, just add me and send me a PM. I will not convince you to join, I will just explain my understanding of these companies.
Network marketing and doing mylot is a good combination.

I also joined around 7 network marketing companies before and none of them succeeded.
Looking back, I think the main problem then was the doubt that people can actually convince others to join you. It requires a good marketing strategy, and it does not mean that the product is very useful.
Right now, I am also into networking but in the internet. There, I am the boss and all-around. Although I sell and resell digital products, it is in my control and I don't rely on someone like upline or downline.
To me, if you want to make money from business then you should learn everything that will require you to do. It's more of than just convincing others and make them your customer. It's giving what they need.

Hello fatherblogger, thank you for your response. You are also correct that it is important to have a good marketing strategy but the bottomline is still have good products. Even if you have a very good marketing strategy but your products are not that good, the company will not last long. In my current company (although I am not that active anymore), we are trying to change the notion of upline/downline, we are trying to promote the term "business partners".... But my top priority now is to start a tradtional business and I am still trying to research on several business ideas, as you say, I am trying to look for what my target market needs.

Text book. I love it.
I think you might be interested in Mentoring For Free. It could save you years of failure and frustration in building an MLM company.
I like to use MyLot to inform people about MLM as well, and many other things aside. You are definitely right, if your company is more focused on Recruiting rather then Sales, chances are it is not a legal network marketing company. That is something to watch for, as well as ongoing any where in your contract with the company.
You need good product, and you need to move that product. Retail bonuses are the best way to go.
If you want to know more about Mentoring For Free, PM me, I am going to add you, to see what else you have to say about MLM. I am not in the philippines, and neither is my company, Mentoring For Free is though. Can be used anywhere.
Cheers.
