Obama and his policies are destroying the United States and our families. His spending will bankrupt our country, destroy our economy and poverty will spread like wildfire in the United States.
Hyper-Inflation is right around the corner. Obama and his administration will pursue more government control over our lives and our families.
What are you doing in order to protect your family from this destruction?

Spending less, trying to pay off the house, secure my job by making sure I do a good job. Trying to get the kids through college and employed in the fields of their choice. No much else I can do. I am saving for retirement but figure that money will be worth so little by then that I won't be able to retire. Looking forward to the 2010 elections and really looking forward to 2012. Hoping the damage isn't so severe that we never recover.
But remember the members of congress are just as much to blame as Obama. They approve the spending. They are spending ridiculous amounts of money themselves. Just this week there was a piece on Fox network - can't remember which program though - regarding how much individual congressmen are spending. So Obama is 1/2 of the problem. We need to turn over congress and get all those people out. Regardless of party affiliate they all need to go. Then follow that up with voting out Obama in 2012.

I agree here with wlee. They will tell you to spend spend spend. "Bla bla the country needs you to have faith in the economy and spend money!" That's bullsh*t. In this situation that's opposite of what we should be doing. Need to suck it up, work hard, and save. We shouldn't be spending money we don't have. We shouldn't be printing money out of thin air and bailing out failing corporations. And we shouldn't be borrowing billions from China. You have legitimate concern when you mention the dollar's falling value. Just remember that gold will never lose its value. Things aren't getting more expensive; the value of our money is just dieing. A 1963 quarter is worth about 2.75 today because it is 90% silver. Gas back then was about 25 cents per gallon. So in reality gas isn't going up! I'll be surprised if the dollar survives up to 2011. All I can say to you guys is buy gold or silver! Buy something with that worthless paper while people still give it value.
