A few years ago... I was told that I had an older sibling... but my sibling was "aborted" before birth. However... I have reason to believe that this is not true. I believe that my sibling is alive and was adopted. However... I have no information expect one birth parent and a possible second birth parent. Is there any way that I can find this person without any other information? More than likely... this person does not even know I exist... they would have been born 2-3 years before me.

You have a reason to believe that your sibling wasn't aborted but adopted. If it is possible to do so you could discuss the past with some of your older relatives. My mother might have the information you need. You might get knowledge from any aunts or uncles. The best thing would be for you to find your older brother's or sister's birth certificate or adoption papers.

Well I have talked to my grandmother... but she said she didn't know anything about a pregnancy before me. She seemed a little uncomfortable with the conversation and then suggested it was none of my business. I no longer speak to my biological mother... and she was always good at hiding stuff. My guess is that any adoption papers or birth certificate would have been shredded and disgarded. My grandmother did tell me that a pregnancy out of wedlock would have been very secretive and that my mother probably would have disapeared for awhile... but she didn't remember her disapearing... but then again there was a time when my parents were having issues and she wasn't around much.

I don't know if you have ever seen this show, but it's called The Locator? Where the main guy, kind of like an investigator or detective (I can't find the right word) who gets calls or cases from people who want to find long lost friends or relatives and he helps them find them. I think maybe what you need is a person like that. Someone who will help you find the person with whatever information you have given to them. I don't really know what other methods you could use to find your sibling, although you can go sleuthing and try to find records of your sibling's birth? I hope that any of this helped at all.
