When do you think a man should propose?

I think a man should propose when he feels its the right thing to do. There is no specific amount of time before you should get married. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 5 years. We own 2 new cars, and a house together. I know we will marry one another....its a matter of when he wants to propose.

when both are ready to get married...there isn't a specific time limit and having a child doesnt mean that you should immediately get married.

well a man should propose only when he thinks that he and his partner have reached a level of compatibilty where they can assure themselves a happy life....some people naturally tend to get that compatibility....some people take time to develop it....though once a man knows that he is in love with the person he shouldnt waste time and should just express his love to that person....

I don't think there should be a sent amount of time people should be together before a man proposes and I don't think he should propose because they have been together for a long time. I was with my husband 5 months before he proposed. As far as if you have a child together, a child is no reason to get married. You get married because you love each other and want to spend the rest of your lives together.
