I never really thought about it before, but I just noticed that all the late nigt shows on major networks are male: Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon.
Do you ever think about there being a female host?
The Wanda Sykes show came out a couple weeks ago, but that's on saturdays and just once a week.
Who do you think would make a good female late nigt host[ess]?

Well there is Chelsea Handler..but I'm not into her. And that's on cable. But as for the networks CBS, NBC, and ABC..maybe sometime in the future after the current hosts leave. I think it would be interesting and I think it's long overdue. As long as whoever they pick is funny. I think Tina Fey would make an awesome host.

The womens movement has only gone so far. I hope there will be one soon - I'd nomintate Tina Fey, as I think she's amazing! There is the switch happening with Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer, so maybe that's a move in the right direction. With both her and Katie Couric, at least women are starting to move into evening slots. We can only hope!

Probably there will be, but I can't think of anyone who would be good at it right now. Of course, they some men doing it right now who are pretty bad in the job anyway so they could probably find a woman who would be as good or better than some of them.
