Does people forget their manner?

Today, I was shopping for a battery, and a spark plug from Auto Zone around the corner. While I was waiting in the line. The next line suppose to be me, a lady all of the sudden, cut in front of me; although I shouted "hey, excuse me." She simply ignore it. And she starts to ask questions, and she begin to place order. I found that really rude of people. I already waited there for 20 minutes, and she should notice that.
I also complained on the service person at the counter, he should not take her before me, because he should know that I was waiting there in line. Oh gosh, people should learn their manner sometimes.
If I would do the same, someone would yell it out loud at me, and causing a big scene.

We will always come accross people in our daily lives that seem to not have manners. People can be rude, selfish, and inconsiderate; they can also be helpful, loving, and caring. We all have areas in our lives where we fall short. Although we can not do anything about the way others act, we can control how we respond to it. Life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it.

Thanks for your condolence for it. I really don't like people simply cut in front of others, especially I just waited for that long. I would like to place my order, and get out there fast too. But I won't cut in front of anybody, that is not how it work.

Sometimes, these things just happen. Sometimes, we just forget our manners. It's not that we want to forget our manners. Sometimes, there are just too many things on our minds. It's annoying and frustrating, but unfortunately these things happen.

Very frustrating, to be sure! There are times I don't want to even go to a store because of rude people. It makes the experience so unpleasant! Thought we learned to take turns in kindergarten, but I suppose some of us have forgotten. I try to just ignore and go on whenever this happens. Then I go home and talk with my family and try to laugh about the interesting individuals in the world.............

Yes this woman was extremely rude. It's unfortunate but what you just described is a daily occurrence for people in the service field. The service person may have been new and not experienced to know how to handle the situation. Then depending on the woman's demeanor he /she may have felt instead of causing a scene let it go. Either way she was wrong. This is a big problem with our youth of today (NOT ALL BUT A GOOD PORTION) They see others being rude and getting what they want now and think they can do the same. People really do need to wake up and start realizing that their actions are effecting us all including the next generation. We cant expect them to be responsible citizens when they arent shown how to be. GRRRR!!! Im right there with you. I almost feel like slapping people that behave like that just like my mom use to do me. Only problem is like you Id get yelled at or worse be in jail.
Sad manners seem like a thing of the past in this dog eat dog world. Thank goodness there are still those of us that know manners are important and required to achieve goals in this life

I hate rude people. I always try to be polite and say hi, good morning/afternoon/night, please, thank you, god bless you, excuse me and i would never just cut in line! Its sad that manners are falling low on the to do list for people.
I think if i was you in that line i would have done they same thing... at 1st i would have said hey or you cut me, or hey i was here 1st... but then if she just ignored me i would let it go so i wouldn't make a seen. I would have talked to the person checking me out and said why did you let her cut me and ring her up before all of us. I would talk to his manager.

There will always be someone that is just rude to people and sometimes it's a one off occasion since they are having a bad day or something but I think that for the most of them, the ones that know manners and just try to be rude are very disrespectful. That aside I would like to see more manners not just from people like that but also the sales staff in shops. In the USA, I heard they were much more welcoming and smile more and I noticed that a lot of sales people in my country don't even care if you are in the shop and looking at something on the shelf. They just pop over and ask if you are ok in a dull tone and then walk off again when you say you are just browsing.
