How do you feel about Gatorade continuing to support Tiger Woods?

I personally am annoyed that the brand is choosing to side with Tiger. I understand they're a drink company and not about family values, but any company who supports a man cheating on his wife and family is not one that I will continue to support. How do you feel?

Do you know with absolute certainty if Tiger cheated on his wife? If so, what is it? I'd like another answer besides the voice mail message that's been going around and his admission of "transgressions" against his family. Until something hard and concrete comes out, I'm with Gatorade; he deserves the benefit of the doubt for now.

True, "transgressions" can cover a lot of things. I guess the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" applies in this manner. Gosh, I think it'd be so hard to be a celebrity. They money would be nice, but I'd hate to have every news outlet covering any of my relationship issues! And unlike some reality celebrities, he wasn't out there deliberately hanging out his laundry for all the world to see (I'm thinking Jon & Kate). Hopefully he and his family will work through this and come out stronger on the other side.

It's a business. Gatorade is a sports drink and Tiger Woods is a great athlete. The problems between he and his wife are their own business...not Gatorades and not ours. I am not condoning what he did at all. Just saying that it should be between him and his wife.

DesignDiva,
I think Gatorade is coming from a compassionate and humanistic perspective and I feel that we should draw some lesson here.
Please do not take me as one who condones cheating and extra marital affairs. But, I feel that as long as a person regardless of his/her status is able to admit his/her mistakes and is making an effort to make up and change for the better, then as a friend/fellow business associate/ spouse - wouldn't it be that you will need to accept and forgive?
I feel that Tiger is already making an effort here by his coming forward and being forthcoming in his efforts to make his marriage work. So, isn't it justifiable for us as supporters to encourage and support him in spirit?

I actually hadn't heard that he had come forward and said he was working to make his marriage work. I honestly got tired of hearing so much about it that I turned off my TV. That definitely changes my perspective. Relationships are the hardest things to get right in life, and no one does them perfectly-myself included! I have much more respect for a man who falls then picks himself back up and tries to fix it. And I wish him and his wife the best in fixing whatever is broken in theirs. And now I won't be such a harsh judge of Gatorade either. :-)

I don't like Gatorade at all but I also don't care if they continue to support Tiger Woods. Its his private business which we the public should not be involved in which includes the Gatorade company. It would be different if he killed or raped someone, then yes get rid of him. This should be a private matter involving only his family. So I don't have a problem at all.
