New Super Mario Bros Wii - GOTY 2009?

Do you think New Super Mario Bros Wii will become game of the year? I personally think so. It is a very fun game, with the old school mario style gameplay with fresh new ways to play. The multiplayer is a blast and is more or less the best part of the game. With up to 4 players, things can get hectic. Even though your friends can help you, they tend to get in the way more than often, which adds more challenge to the game. Even though there is though competition, like Modern Warfare 2 and ODST, people shouldn't count mario out.

I have to say that i believe this game has a potential to become GOTY this year, but it does have its ups and downs. It will have a large amount of competition considering AC2, MW2, and ODST. Those who prefer classics to the new stuff, this is a classic with a new twist. Not many can say that it makes it worse to add stuff to a classic, but the same can go for the latter. I personally have this game, and thoroughly enjoy it, although it is difficult, which classic games of mario's time wasn't?

I don't know if it will be game of the year but I got it and I love it. I really enjoy side scrolling Mario games. Nintendo did a good job on this game. I'd reccomend this game to anybody who has a Wii.
