Hi, my friends, do you feel very tired everyday? Do you sleep a lot in a day? How many hours do you think it is enough to have a sleep?
As far as I am concerned, Iusually sleep a lot in my day life. But I still feel I am so tired to do other things. I want to ask whether you have slept a lot in the daily life.Do you feel asleep when you have got up?

I usually need 7 hours sleep so that I will not become sleepy the next day. Most people suggested 8 hours sleep for kids and teenagers. For an adult I think 7 hours is more than enough. If somehow I missed my good night sleep, I just need around 5 to 6 hours sleep to recover them. Then, I will be as energetic as ever.

I think the amount you need to sleep depends on you as an individual rather than an average for example. As I have said in another discussion I have an average of 7-8 hours a day but can function on as little as 4 for a couple of days before needing to recover on my 7-8 hours sometimes bit more depending how exhausted I am

Yeah, I do agree with you. Yes, I think if I am so tired one , that maybe I need to sleep a longer time which may make me feel relaxed. So sleep must be needed, just on condition how much work as we have. Happyy mylot.

Well lately I am tired everyday but that is because I have only been getting five and half hours of sleep and in aditon I have been excercising in the nights.Consequently I feel that the optimal time to sleep is seven hours and a bare minimum of six hours if you cant do better .I think seven to eight hours is good too but anything over that would make you drowsy

The so-called "experts" all agree that everybody needs at least eight hours of sleep every day. It is nonsense. The amount of sleep you need depends on a lot of things. Do you wake up often in the night? That means you are not spending much time in the deep sleep state and because of that you will need more time. I have lived on six hours of sleep per day for many years and it works fine for me. It takes me about five minutes to become completely alert after I wake up. Many of my friends and family view sleep as a blessing. They get their eight hours (or more) nearly every night and will take a nap in the daytime if they get a chance. To me, sleep time is wasted. I sleep because I have to but I have no desire for more than the minimum necessary.
