Well if you are wealthy you can buy everything to keep you stay fit and strong. Foods, medicines, hire the best doctors, go to different places to unwind and relax, buy your own hospital, compared to someone who has just enough for living. Do you agree or not?

Not nessicarily, in England we get free healthcare so no matter what is wrong with us we can go to the doctor without worry of how much its going to cost us, whereas in other countries I understand that if you have to even go for a check up with a doctor then you have to pay for that. We are lucky here as many things are free so I would say you dont need to be well off in England to be heatlhy as much of it is handed to you on a plate!

Hi angelsdaddy Nice to hear that your government cares about the citizens health through health care programs. I just hope all countries will provide lesser cost of health care too.In our country the Philippines, i hate to admit the fact, but our medicines including doctor check ups are too expensive. We also have health care program comming from our government but the system isn't working that good.

There is perhaps some truth in that. Unfortunately not everyone is wealthy and so we have to improvise. I'm not wealthy and I don't have the means to afford the best doctors, exercise equipment and everything else! However, I do love to keep fit and I do my best within my limitations. I think that as long as something is being done, that is, trying to stay fit and well then there's a good chance that we can live long and happy lives. That's my hope anyhow. Andrew

I agree to a degree. While money allows one to better expolit healthcare resources there is definetly much one can do without vast sums of money. Education, even if not very sophisticated, goes along way in taking better care of oneself. For example if a population would take more vitamin D ot would greatly decrease the prevelence of the flu epidemic. Vitamin D supplements arent too out of reach but the problem is getting the word out and getting people to take enought of it. This type of information or other information relavent to an individual would be best conveyed by ones doctor. For low income families who may be at higher risk to the flu (ie public transportation, poorer living conditions) dont usually vsit a doctor regularly as it is not easily afforded to them. This is kind of a double whammy for them to get the flu and I think we could eliminate some of this by making healthcare more acessible to the masses.

hi denver a lot of rich people get sick worse than us poorer people as they overeat and over imbibe and under really under 'exercise. no we who have to work and exercise and eat wisely and not over eat are mostly a lot healthier than the rich people who over do on everything.Keeping ones weight down avoids lots of illnesses and exercise by walking also helps and more of us lesser wealthy have to do this, we have no choice yet we do not have to got to the doctor as much as the rich overweight under exercises have to.

As far as I am concerned, I think the good health may not depend on one's wealth. The wealth has little influence on the wealth. If we want to make a healthy body, just pratise it more, I think a strong healthy body will become. So we still need to play more to build our body.Happy mylot.

In a way what you are saying is true. money does buy the "best" things. But you don't always need a lot of money for a healthy lifestyle. If you learn to eat right, keep fit, and take good care of yourself in general then you should be just as fine as the next person. People on low-incomes can still buy good food to eat. freash fruits and vetgables. and preform simple exerzises sitting or standing in front of the tube withouhgt high-ppriced equitment that does nothing more then make money for someone else.

I agree completely. It's not to say poor people must suffer bad health, while the rich never get sick. But on average, the rich have more priorities to maintain their health. For example, go to fitness center, eat nutrient foods, accept careful attendance and so forth. If people live in sufficient condition, they can afford to think about this. Or if people still have to struggle for next month's rent, all kinds of bills, I doubt it.

Unfortunately, it's true. I agree that only those who are wealthy and have access to hospitals and medicine stay fit and strong. Those who have just enough for everyday expenses do not bother to buy maintenance medicines and dietary supplements because they purchase first other necessities in life like food and clothing.
