Have you ever speculated where is happiness derived from? How can we get the sense of happiness? and what factors contribute to our happiness?
In my own perspective,I find two majoy things related to the sense of happiness.First, satisfaction with materials, secondly, satisfaction with emotion.
and what is your opinions on this issue?

Happiness is created when you get what you desire, and what your inner belief says it is what you want.
Taking about satisfaction. We have always seen, few people never get satisfied, does that mean they are never happy?
Happiness can be from small things, even something that is of no big value. Say a poor guy who has not eaten for 2 days, even a loaf of bread brings happiness to him. And if you provide that to him, then you can also share that happiness.

I agree with you b4balaji, happiness can also come from small things. No need to spend expensive things or parties to be happy. Would you believe, more people with lesser in life are more happy that those people who have more than enough? Why is that so? Well, the more you have, the more responsibility you have, and the more obligation you have to take care of and lesser time to spend for yourself.

Happiness is a general(/broad) term to discuss about; Very deeply related terms are Satisfaction, Desire, Achivement, Success..... list grows.
If a person is satisfied(just satisfied) he wont get much of hapiness.
If a person always gets what he desired whenever he desired, he is completely deprived of happiness.
If you give happiness to any other person that brigten's your day(you feel happiness and may even feel positve energy)
If you give happiness to your closed one you get a lot of happiness.
So, happiness is directly connected to desire, achievement, success. However, its virtue is defined by the level of satisfaction and many more things.
