I met my husband on the internet in 2003 purely by accident. The pair of us were in a chat room we had not been on before. Remember Freeserve? At the back of my mind were words that my clairvoyant had told me. He said, "You will meet someone in an unconventional manner, he will not be a local man but someone from Cumbria. This man will make you very happy and marriage may be on the cards!" Hmm, I thought! Subconsciously I clicked the name Cumbrian32 and the rest is history as they say! How did I know he wasn't a nutter? Well, for a start he did not ask me what my bra size was or even for a pic. In fact, the first time he knew what I looked like was when he first visited the house about a month later! He had had a few rejections due to him beaming off a pic of his passport photo (not very flattering) but I saw through all that and realised that he was a very nice man. In fact, he was much better in the flesh so I am glad I wasn't shallow and rejected him just because he had ginger hair. It did help that he could type! That enabled us to chat online and have virtual conversations. Of course, we would speak to each other on the telephone as well but we had fun on the internet and we knew straight away that "marriage was definitely on the cards!" We got married in April 2008 some 5 years after we first met.
