I have had both my parents for my whole growing up years, but when I was 2 weeks from my 44th birthday in 1996 my father passed away, and presently my mother resides in a nursing home and has caretakers because she sadly has increasingly become afflicted with dementia and doesn't remember anyone, so in a sense I've lost both my parents, and I too consider myself very blessed, because I had my two loving parents who did everything they possibly could to take care of their 7 children and their memories will be with me for as long as I will be able to remember them. That's a good thing. Thank you for asking.

I have both of my parents, they are still married. I love them both so much and I respect them totally.

I honestly couldn't imagine not having either of my parents. My dad recently lost his father, and sometimes he just breaks down crying in the middle of a meal or some other activity. But we all have to move on, I guess. My mother is on the verge of diabetes and I don't really know if it's fatal or not, but I've been pushing her to go running with me once in a while.
