Linux users?

Any linux users here?
I use Linux Mint and I just upgraded to Helena and I have some weird bugs with it:
Sound doesn't work, Text is huge, slow startup, etc
I have tried some of the solutions online but no luck, anyone know of ant solutions or where I can find a comprehensive database of known problems and solutions?

I use Sabayon Linux at the moment and I think I'm going to stay with it although I have used others in the past.

As the buddy upstairs said, Linux Mint is not very popular. If you use a release which has few user, you are hard to get enough help. So I recommend that you could use Ubuntu instead of Mint, which has a lot of users in the world and you can get much more help from www.ubuntu.org

I use Mandriva Linux 2009.1, It is very good.
Ubuntu is not bad, but not for me.
