2012-What will happen?

Hi, billi65. Well in that case, God should get rid of all of the bad and evil people that are doing all these bad things. The good people should be allowed to stay or remain on earth. I know that this may not be possible but it would be fair. The good should not have to suffer for someone else's wrongdoing.

Very good point. I, for one, agree with the fact that most people on this earth ruin it by not taking care of it and being greedy for money and power. Over these last years, many people have been stepping up to talk against the destruction of mother nature and how, for example, finding alternative resources for fuel will stop the coal burning and reduce pollutants. Every year, bad things happen around the world. Floods, Mudslides, Earth quakes, Erupting volcanoes. These are all signes of mother nature's rejection to the quickly developing society of Earth. For all we know, like you mentioned, a great disaster might strike us and reform the earth. But the thing is, You'll never know what will happen and until then you can only hope for the best.

Yes most defenetly. The only reason that this would happen, if it happend at all, would be because of the environmental destruction here on earth. Pollution, deforestation, sewage plants and so on. As for the mayan calender, no one can really say that it's real and everything mentioned is going to become true. Also, if this thing does happen, it will most probably wipe out all the human race because it is surely going to be destructive.

Very interesting answer Pose. It's good to hear different aspects of this topics as everyone has differen oppinion about 2012. Seeing as the world's waters are rising every year, I must say that something is bound to happen. Maybe not a real big thing like shown in the movie, but something will most defenetly happen. I suppose the only thing to do now is obviously wait for some other responses :) And wait for time to tell.

I thank you for your response. As I might has said above, it's good to see different aspects relating this topic. Most of the movie may be false but in my view, with most people saying that something is going to happen makes it hard to agree with them. However, it might be, as you said, that absolutely nothing will happen and we will continue living our lives as normal. But surely, with all the pollution, ice caps melting, global warming, don't you think that at least something might happen?

mate, it's not millions of years!:D just a few thousand..:) all this mayan things are bullS.! they had a calendar and it'll restart..that's all... but i think the mankind should change their mind, cuz this economic crisis could be an end of something. so a mental change will come IMHO...:)
