I just got my regular flu shot today but I was thinking about getting the H1N1 vaccine. But I'm scared of it. What do you think? Have you gotten one? If so, did you have any negative reactions?

I wasn't keen on having it but, since I tick the boxes on a couple of health issues and I'm a frontline healthcare worker, my doctor and I felt that I probably should. Apart from an aching arm for a day or two, similar to what I'd get with the regular flu jab I didnt really notice any side effects. I went straight from having the jab to do an 8-hour shift.
A few of my colleagues deveoped a sore throat and one person's arm went very red but no-one was bad enough to stay off work or anything. Different people take the jab in different ways so you could fall anywhere in between feeling very little and suffering more severe effects.
