Which effects our life more, The physical or the Spiritual realm?

The scripture says "And the first was not which is spiritual, the first is that which is physical. Corinthians 15:45. Does this mean that our knowledge of the spiritual is overshadow by our need to survive and live on a daily basis. The Spiritual is all around always, it undergirds our lives but because of the blocks we encountered to our spiritual connection, often times we cant see it it. We are fleshly beings unless we receive a spiritual awakening.
