I miss those days terribly, Stone Cold and the Rock, DX back when they were actually good. The memories are priceless and it will never be the same again.

I know it will NEVER be the same and that is very disappointing. I would love to see that era come back but we still do have the memories and dvds, movies to watch of it. :(

i do miss the attitude era in wwe. now you have them going with a pg rating and its starting to get more corporate since vince machman sold raw to donald trump and it puts more attention on the celebrities hosting raw each monday rather than the wrestling it self. also you got tiny wrestlers getting the push to try and get popular now since steroids are frowned upon now in wwe. people say thats a good thing but it stinks in my view. i want to see characters that look like they have come out of comic books in matches and not tiny weaklings getting a push but those days are over. wrestling has really gone in a direction in which I don't like. i don't watch it no wear near as much as i use to.

yup, i miss it very much! i think that is the best time in wwe/wwf. they have great storylines and the wrestlers really had personalities back then. not the corporate cut board types that we have right now. i think the wwe gearing itself as a more wholesome, family-oriented show has something to do with this. they can't have racy plots or over the top storylines like before. anyway, i'm still happy with what they show after all it is still entertainment. cheers!!!

I agree with your phrase 'glorious past', the era when wrestling was WRESTLING. I must admit that I miss it so much. Back to the year of 1999 when WWE was booming in my country, every Friday night I turned my television on to follow the matches up. I can't believe it was more than 10 years ago! And now, I can see the difference obviously! Especially when we are mentioning diva division! Really miss when divas do wrestling! I can't describe what nowadays' divas do.

Although it was significantly better than today, I do think that nostalgia makes the attitude era seem better than it was. Yes, it was overall fantastic, but it did have its bad moments too. Besides, current PG-era WWE still has its moments of brilliance and has much better production values than it has ever had

No, not really. The title leaped around too much, tons of run ins, and things were tossed out there for ratings spikes. It was an exciting time as it happened, with the Monday Night wars and three companies going (ECW was involved enough to be a big enough entity to count), but looking back, there was so much crap too.
