Speaking of time, how long is a long time?

Is 10 years a very long time. It maybe roughly 1/7th of our entire life but some would say its a very short period. When I was still a kid, that 10 years is like a life time but now that I'm in my 30's, its far, far a short period of time.
How long is a long time to you?

A long time to me is 20 years. I haven't reached twenty, but it seems like a good age to look back on the golden days of my youth. I've heard however, that twenty years seems like mere hours. Maybe it's because when you're older, all the burdens of life seem to pile upon you and keep you in this sort of constant state. Making you lose track of time until you've realized that 20 years has gone by. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.
