Top level free domain is not possible. But you can get a free co.cc domain with www.co.cc . You can get a cheap web hosting service with www.hostkite.com ($ 1.99 per month). It is cheap but has lots of features. Most of the cheap hosting companies does not have good features.

Hello friend. If what you want is a .com, I guess there is no way to get it for free. If is ok for you a .info, then you can buy it in godaddy for less than $1, just need to wait the day of the special offers (it happens often, the regular price for a .info domain is $1.99 on godaddy) If an url redirect is enough for you, then you can use the .tk domain. go on dot.tk and register for your .tk domain. It's free, but the search engine spyders will not see your site, so is useless if you want your site listed on the search engines. Another chance is get a true top level domain for free in the form www.yoursite.co.cc This is the biggest free domain company, and also allows you to earn something referring there your friends. You will find their banner in my proflile. If you decide to join them, please use my profile banner, so I will earn something;) Btw, this is a true top level domain, you can set the dns for this domain name, and your site will be totally visible for the search engines spyders;) Wish this can help you.

Actually, yes, I do. The current domain that I am using is a .com domain, but it is free. Well, not completely, but you will have to post on their forums to earn for it. It's pretty easy though, and PM me for details. :) Add me as a friend and I will tell you. :)
