When I was a kid, I often awake with nightmares. But as I grow older, I rarely visited with nightmares. Some people said that the causes of nightmare for adults are the following; taking a late night snack,(it increase metabolism and signal the brain to be more active)taking anti-depressants,pain killers, anxiety and depression. Do you still have nightmares?

Several years ago, i had nigthmares and talked in my sleep. My dad told me it's ok, i just got some pressure. When i grow up, sometimes i was sleepless, but seldom have nightmares.
Recently, i have good sleep, when i get up in the morning, i almost forget the dream last night.

I heard that drinking a cup of warm milk before you go to bed will help you have a restful sleep. You can try it.
Perhaps you have something unpleasant in your mind and lead to nightmares, try to relax, my friend, it's ok.

My nightmares always involve Aliens/Bigfoot/Alligators/Bees/Drowning in Milk.I hate those ones where you can't run or scream. Then the monster gets you.

yeah, I hate that kind of nightmares as well. When you're chasing by something that will eat human, and then no matter what you do, you can't run and scream, til you awake breathless.LOL That's really scary, most often I can't sleep back anymore. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

i don't remember if i've had nightmares as a child.
but when i grew up,sometimes i felt like having a nightmare.
when times of dreaming bad dreams like,i'm dying in my dream and bloodstreams flowing around me.sometimes i also dreamed of monsters attacking me,or evil ones taking me.kinda creepy in a way,but to think of it,it's just a dream!
you can always pray before you go to sleep, and try to clear your mind to avoid nightmares!don't think of bad things before sleeping that may cause a nightmare!

Yes you are right. because having a night mares is an evil doing. But in my case, when I have a nightmare I always prey to him and ask to avoid nightmares because a friend of mine have a nightmares that she is attacking and totally true because she cannot breathe. that's why she is going to the hospital. thanks for your comments you shared and have a nice day ahead. Recently not but in my childhood years, I often have nightmares almost every night. My mother always says theirs a monster somewhere if I do not obey her. As a child, it always bothers me then that even when I'm asleep, it follows me.

Hi, careguarden. I have nightmares from time to time. And they are very scary too. When I eat a big meal and sleep on it, I will dream scary dreams that are very frightening. That is why I make sure that I don't eat anything heavy on my stomach before going to bed at night.
