Do we get points for putting comments on other's photos

No, you only get points for discussion topics, doing quizzes and tasks. And maybe some from your blog too, if you have submitted it in and it has been accepted. :) For the points, the thing is, there is no such thing as points. You just earn whatever the money thing says about you at the top. Or you can go to your earnings to check. :) You get what you see, so there is no "point" system where the company may hide what you are really getting. This is why I like mylot. :)
