Have you tasted a Ice cream on a day, when it is quite cold, and you are shivering. I have done it with my wife, and I can assure you that the experience is pure heaven. Of course I was recently married at that time, and sharing the Ice cream with my young wife was one of the wonderful experience I will never forget, I still remember the flavor it was Choco nuts. Want to share your experiences.

When I was a child in Oklahoma where they get a lot more snow than we do here in south Texas, we would look forward to having snow ice cream each winter. For those of you who are not familiar with snow ice cream, You take a large mixing bowl of CLEAN snow, add some light cream or even whole milk, sugar and flavoring (most usually vanilla) mix and eat.Remember that you don't want to melt the snow, just flavor it. So go easy on the liquids. This was a real treat for us country kids who couldn't run down to the corner and buy an ice cream cone anytime they wanted.

As I have mentioned, you are all very lucky. I have never seen snow in my entire life. The only snow and snow fall I have seen is in the movies.

Maybe we are lucky, and maybe not. Here in south Texas, we have to have both summer and winter clothes but only get to wear the winter clothes a few times each year. I gave away my winter coat because I only wore it once last winter. I bought a lighter weight one, and the temperature went down to 26 degrees F.last night, very cold for so early this far south. We didn't even get snow. It fell both north and south of us, but we were the doughnut hole.

Hi, ramesh. Yes, I do eat ice cream when it is very cold outside. I will eat it when I am inside of my warm and cozy ice cream. I would not dare go outside and eat ice cream it that chilly weather! No way! Ho zay! When I eat ice cream I am shivering and knowing that I am cold. I still eat it and enjoy it.

I normally wouldnt because I would be drinking something hot like warm like tea or soup but I love ice cream enough to take a shot at icecream on a cold day. I wouldnt partake of too much and it wouldnt be very cold in fact it would have to be soft and melting almost like a slurry for me to partake on a cold day

Yes it was approxmately 4/5 years ago I was dow with a bitter flu and due to heavy load of calls I was not able to get a leave. A friend of mine who was equally crazy like me said lets go and have ice cream, Mac Donalds was on 5 mints walking distance from our work place, so we rusehed in the middle of the night to have one. When i appeared with hot fudge ice cream my supervisor was going mad and he was really concerned , he said u are going to die and it would not be our fault :) I still remember it to this day :)

I don't eat ice cream during the winter time. But, my grand daughter loves ice cream and if we would let her she would eat it everyday all day. She wants to eat it on the coldest day. I am drinking hot chocolate or hot coffee and she wants ice cream.

Well little children are like that, my grand daughter is about 15 months old, and at times when I give her a little ice cream, you must see the smile on her face. It is what you call a million dollor smile.( I think we grand parents always think that our grand children, have a million dollor smile)
