Today, it is still being questioned and decided upon on whether or not the law should allow marijuana leaves to be used for medicinal purposes. Yes, marijuana helps in treating certain disorders but many disagrees to actually use it as an alternative medicine for it was believed to create more pitfalls and a high possibility of developing an abusive vice for users. How about you, do you think the government should legally announce marijuana as a medicinal item?

Here in my country (the U.S.) we have a number of states, 14 I think, that allow for medical use of marijuna. Despite the fact that it is completely ilegal by federal law, these states have stood up to the federal government and passed their own regulations on it that allow it. Two states ahve even considered making it legal for recreational use, California and Rhode Island.
Our constitution allows the federal government VERY STRCTLY LIMMTED power and leaves the rest up to the individual states. Despite that, our federal government has trampled all over states rights and soviergnty and does so regularly, this is just one more example of this.
