Just makes it so much easier to read and find interesting posts. If I see a certain mylotter, I know they have interesting discussions. I dont even look at posts with green defaults any more. If mylot is an online community, then your avatar lets mylotters know who you are in the community. Sorta like picking friends. Do you agree? What do you think?

I agree with you wholeheartedly sergeantrom - I hate seeing those little green avatars on some profiles. I like to see who my friends are. Seeing a photo of someone here is like seeing a friend and it draws you to them - and their discussions. It also helps us to get recognized in the MyLot community and so create a following.

Exactly my point. Just imagine if everyone had those green avatars how confusing it would be to locate others or posts. I used to go thru pages of those green things before seeing a real photo. They seem to be slowing down lately.

Hello there sergeant trom,
Well, I NEVER liked the green guy anyways, son after i joined this site i started looking for pictures in my avatar. how ever it was only last month where i revealed my real photo as the avatar. of course, i changed it again because it wasn't matching the profile back ground pic and my username.
there are still oldie mylotters here that still has the green guy image, i guess they really prefer the green rather than their own .

Most of the new mylotters use the green default but I have noticed a few veterans that use the mylot default avatar. They either never got around to changing it or have some issues. One of the things I love about mylot more than other forums is the layout. Its so simple to read and find stuff.
