We got a rather easy group on paper, so I can safely assume England should reach the second round. Although we know past reputation means ZERO on the day of the match, and theoretically any team has the possibility of winning.
A single mistake made by 1 player can cause a huge negative affect on the rest of the players in the England team's confidence, which annoys me a lot. What I'd like England to do is not dwell on mistakes and concentrate on following the strategic plans chosen by the manager. The defenders need to be mindful of the any threat, however small it might be.

I don't have any worries with the England players except that they dont have a very good backup that can take up responsibility of the first teamers. Hopefully England players does not get injured during the World Cup. With all players fit, possibility of England winning is quite big.

I think England has a decently good squad. The one issue with them is the John Terry controversy. But if they can gel as a team, then I see them reaching at least the quarter finals. I still do not see them winning the World Cup, but they can at least make it to the quarters.
Cheers!
