It depends on why you lost your vision. If it is due to a cataract or other physical obstruction you could recover part of it. If it's due to retinal, nerve or other changes in the eye chances are nothing will return it. The only person who can truly give you an answer in the opthamologist.

hi, go to see a ophthalmologist, get the right lenses for your glasses, you can't recover your original visions only by eating vegetables and greens.

shankarcoat you really need to see your opthamologist and see what he or she has to say about your eyes. also taking lutein plus vitamins might help and sure could not hurt. You may have
a cataract and that can be remedied by removing the cataract.
good luck and God Bless you.

Hello shankarcont, at your age problem seeing far is common which is called nearsightedness. I used to have it when I was 15 yrs. old due to wrong lighting and positioning of my eyes when I am reading and watching. If your problem is due to refractive error or due to lense problem you need corrective lenses to prevent it to further increase the error of refraction at the same time prevent straining your eyes too much and try to do eye exercise, eating vegetable rich in vitamin A and other eye vitamin will help you in supplementing good nutrition to your eyes but will not totally cure the problem. It is better to consult your opthalmologist to help you prevent your eye problem from progressing.
